『 太田茂の40年史 』 Vol. 28 『 店舗改装 』
先日もお伝えしましたが、REUNIONは開店から30年となりました。
31年目がスタートしているんですが、
ここで店舗の改装をしようと思っております。
お客様からは十分今のままで綺麗じゃない？って言われることもあるのですが
今の場所で25年ほど経ちます。
少しずつは手直ししていたんですが、
夏の終わりにエアコンがつぶれたり、外壁もヒビが入ったり
当然店内も古くなってきましたので、思い切って改装いたします。
店内が広くなるわけではありませんが、
よりお客様に快適にお買い物していただけるよう、
今回はまあまあ思い切った改装をする予定です。
この冬のシーズンが終了するころから始める予定ですが、
気の早い職人さんはすでにちょこちょこ来てやれるところから直してくださっております。
突然来たりするので、お店の前に工事車両などが止まっている場合がありますが、
基本的には毎日営業しておりますので、中にお入りください。
3月頃には完成の予定です。
暫くはバタバタしておりますがお許しください。
昔と違い、今はネットでなんでも買えるようになりました。
それでも、洋服屋としてはお店に来ていただいて対面でお買い物していただきたいと思っております。
ネットも大事なんですが、まずはお店ということで。
こんな田舎町までわざわざ来ていただける価値のあるお店を目指します。
より楽しく、ワクワクするようなお買い物が出来るお店をと思っておりますので
是非期待して完成をお待ちください。

As I mentioned the other day, REUNION has been open for 30 years.
We’ve now entered our 31st year,
and we’ve decided to renovate the store.
Some customers have told us, “Isn’t it already nice enough as it is?”
But we’ve been at this location for about 25 years.
We’ve been making small repairs here and there,
but at the end of summer, the air conditioner broke down, cracks appeared in the exterior walls,
and naturally, the interior has started to show its age, so we’ve decided to go ahead with a full renovation.
The store won’t actually get any bigger,
but to make your shopping experience more comfortable,
we’re planning a fairly extensive renovation this time.
We plan to start around the end of this winter season,
but some eager craftsmen have already been dropping by here and there to fix whatever they can.
Since they show up unexpectedly, you might see construction vehicles parked in front of the store,
but we’re generally open every day, so please feel free to come inside.
We expect the work to be completed around March.
Things will be a bit hectic for a while, so please bear with us.
Unlike in the past, you can buy just about anything online these days.
Even so, as a clothing store, we’d love for you to come visit us and shop in person.
While online shopping is important, we prioritize the in-store experience.
We aim to be a store worth making the trip to, even in a small town like this.
We’re working to create a store where shopping is more fun and exciting,
so please look forward to the completion.
