『 30年 』 REUNION
11月10日はREUNION開店記念日。
本日でちょうど30周年を迎えることができました。
支えてくださっているお客様、メーカー様、友人、家族、
皆様に本当に感謝いたします。
1995年の11月、28歳怖いもの知らずの太田が、地元磐田市でお店を開きました。
若い時から洋服好きで、どうしても自分でお店をやりたくて始めたお店です。
3年くらい出来ればいいかななんて思っていましたが、30年やってこれました。
その間に何度か危機もありましたが、色々な方に助けられてなんとか30年です。
今のようにネットやSNSなども無い時代からですから
随分世の中は変わったなという感じですね。
その30年の間に様々なブランドを取り扱ってきましたが、
今も開店当初と違いはなく、自分の店ですので僕の好きな物、着たい物でセレクトしています。
これからもそれはブレることはないと思います。
長年使ってきたお店も少し改装もしたいななんて思っていますし、
まだまだこれから色々なことにチャレンジはしたいと思っています。
ウチにしか出来ないようなこと、ウチだからできることを模索しながら
人生の半分以上を共にしてきたこのお店でこれからも頑張っていきたいと思います。

November 10th marks the anniversary of REUNION’s opening.
Today marks our 30th anniversary.
I am truly grateful to all of you—our loyal customers, manufacturers, friends, and family—
who have supported us all these years.
In November 1995, a fearless 28-year-old named Ota opened this store in my hometown of Iwata City.
I’ve loved clothes since I was young, and I started this store because I was determined to run my own business.
I thought I’d be lucky to make it last three years, but here I am, 30 years later.
There were a few crises along the way, but thanks to the help of so many people, I’ve managed to make it this far.
Since this was back in the days before the internet and social media,
it really makes me feel like the world has changed quite a bit.
Over these 30 years, I’ve carried a variety of brands,
but just like when I first opened, I still select items based on what I personally like and want to wear—after all, it’s my store.
I don’t think that will ever change.
I’m thinking of doing a little renovation on the shop I’ve used for so many years,
and I still want to take on all sorts of new challenges.
While exploring what only we can do and what we can do because we’re us,
I want to keep doing my best at this shop that has been with me for more than half my life.
